Front-End Web Developer & Designer

I'm a Senior Front-End Developer at the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner. I make websites and apps using various front-end technologies. I've got a long history working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and lately I've been spending lots of time with Angular, SCSS, and TypeScript.

But what about the & Designer part?

Ah, yes! Maybe I should also mention that I have an affinity for graphic design. Over the years, I've contributed to a variety of branding and marketing efforts—designing logos, crafting layouts, editing photos, pairing fonts and selecting color palettes. And while these are no longer my primary tasks, they certainly have a big influence on my work.
